MINISTER TEKİN RECEIVES WORLD CHAMPION TURKISH NATIONAL COMPUTER KEYBOARD TEAM

The 54th Computer Keyboard Olympics, organized every two years by INTERSTENO, the International Federation for Information and Communication Processing affiliated with the United Nations, was held in Katowice, Poland, from July 13-17.
 
The Turkish National Computer Keyboard Team emerged as the champion among the 29 countries that participated in the championship.
 
Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin received the Turkish National Computer Keyboard Team, which became world champions.
 
Minister Tekin congratulated the students of the team, most of whom are middle and high school students, for their success in the championship.
 
Tekin recalled that during his tenure as Undersecretary at the Ministry of National Education, they supported many projects to promote the use of the F keyboard, and he stated that they are once again ready to provide any support needed.
 
Seçkin Köse, the Türkiye Representative of INTERSTENO and President of the Turkish Group, briefed Minister Yusuf Tekin on the championship and the education the students received in this context.
 
Köse emphasized that the F keyboard is the most suitable for the Turkish language and expressed their readiness to cooperate in promoting its use.
 
At the end of the meeting, Minister Tekin congratulated the students once again, and the students expressed their gratitude to Minister Tekin for receiving them.
